
New York, NY – (March 4, 2008) – Starting on March 8th in Woodward, Oklahoma, Axiom Records group Ashmont Hill will be opening for well-known Curb Recording artist Natalie Grant on her “Relentless Tour.”
Ashmont Hill’s set will include songs from their upcoming self-titled debut that is releasing nationwide on May 13th. Already being recognized for their fresh sound this group of 4 is set to hit the road to share with audiences across the country their music. Their first single “You Proved Your Love” is gaining more attention every day at AC radio and their performance at the upcoming NRB on March 10th is sure to get event more attention.
The group got their name from “Ashmont Hill,” an idyllic community near Boston, the group of four (all related by blood or marriage) has made beautiful, spiritual music for years at Jubilee Church, where their father is Bishop. Phil Thompson, sisters April Joy Thompson and Deborah Bullock, along with Deborah’s husband, Wil Bullock, heard the call from the Lord to bring their music to a larger community. Ashmont Hill’s album is a true collaborative effort between the band and their producer Sal Oliveri.
